Expedition Yacht CARMEN

Description

About Carmen

CARMEN is a newly built explorer-style motor yacht created for guests who value freedom, space, and an experience that feels open and well supported throughout the journey. Delivered in 2025 by Aegean Yacht, she brings together a bold exterior presence with a surprisingly warm, beach-house-inspired interior that immediately puts guests at ease.

At 37.3 metres, CARMEN accommodates up to ten guests across five cabins and is operated by a professional crew of seven. Her generous deck areas, well-structured crew, and intuitive circulation allow guests to move naturally between activity and retreat. Social areas remain connected without feeling compressed, while quieter corners offer privacy without isolation — a balance that becomes essential on longer charters.

Interior & Accommodation

Accommodation aboard CARMEN is designed to provide both comfort and privacy. A full-beam master suite on the main deck is a defining feature, offering generous space, excellent light, and a sense of separation that allows the principal guests to relax fully.

Below deck, the remaining accommodation includes three double cabins and two convertible cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. The layout is flexible and practical, making it well suited to families with children or groups travelling together.

Interiors are styled with a light, contemporary feel, using soft materials and clean lines to create an atmosphere that feels relaxed rather than formal.

Outdoor Living

Outdoor living is central to the CARMEN experience. Expansive decks offer exceptional flexibility, from relaxed lounging to active use throughout the day.

The upper deck sky lounge provides a comfortable setting for dining and social time, while the forward upper deck features a recessed jacuzzi with surrounding seating and panoramic views.

The elongated aft deck transforms seamlessly from tender storage into a beach-club-style area, offering ample room for sunbathing, sports, or quiet relaxation close to the water.

Crew & Experience

CARMEN is led by Captain Luka Šupe, whose calm leadership and extensive experience across motor and sailing yachts set a reassuring tone on board.

Supported by a well-structured crew that includes a first officer, engineer, chef, chief stewardess, stewardess-masseuse, and deckhand, service is attentive, organised, and consistently present without feeling intrusive.

Dining plays an important role on board, guided by award-winning Chef Mateo Rac, whose approach balances refined presentation with generous, relaxed meals suited to life at sea.

Lifestyle & Activities

CARMEN offers an exceptional range of activities, making her particularly appealing to active families and groups.

A broad selection of water sport toys supports energetic days at anchor, while the expansive aft deck allows for on-board sports such as basketball, table tennis, yoga, or casual fitness sessions.

Guests can easily move between play, rest, and shared time, maintaining a balanced onboard rhythm.

Along the Dalmatian Coast, days unfold between quiet anchorages, historic towns, and open water — shaping a yacht journey that feels both relaxed and naturally structured.

Why This Yacht

CARMEN suits families and multi-generational groups who value activity without chaos and structure without rigidity.

Her explorer layout encourages movement and curiosity, while her spatial zoning and steady crew leadership ensure the experience remains grounded and easy to enjoy.
